Each Wednesday when you visit HLB you’ll find the theme for the newest recipe round up, and this week we’re celebrating National Frozen Yogurt Month with fantastic fro-yo recipes from the HLB community!

When it comes to Recipe Wednesdays here at HLB, some weeks our themes read like cookbook chapters, spotlight ingredients or flavors, or simply request the best recipe for a certain situation.

Find an appropriate recipe from your blog archives to fit the theme and add to the collection. Or be inspired to create a new theme-friendly dish worth posting about before next Wednesday.

Peanut Butter Protein Frozen Yogurt from Lindsays List // While this recipe isn’t vegan or super duper “clean”, it hits the spot when you need a healthier frozen treat!   It turned out CREAMY and RICH but the nutrition stats state otherwise.  

Frozen Blueberry Yogurt Bites from Zen & Spice // Making these treats is really simple. Basically, you mix the Greek yogurt with powdered sugar (to thicken it a little), then stick a blueberry with a toothpick and swirl it around in the yogurt. Drop onto a baking sheet and freeze, and you’re done!

Fresh Peach Greek Frozen Yogurt from Peanut Butter Runner // The recipe features just four ingredients…peaches, plain Greek yogurt, cane sugar and lemon juice. You can also add a shot of vodka to the mix if you want your frozen yogurt to stay a little softer in the freezer.

5 Minute Healthy Strawberry Frozen Yogurt from Prevention RD // While I don’t use my food processor often, the recipes its used for are worth allocating precious kitchen storage for the honker of an appliance. I just made my second batch of this frozen yogurt today and while I stuck with strawberries, I look forward to trying this recipe with peaches and other berries, too. 

Peachy Frozen Yogurt Bites from The Honour System // Using peaches seemed like a perfect fit to make a popular treat totally different with a fruity element. I also made this version a vegan one  by trying out a ‘new-to-me’ product.

Strawberry Vanilla Swirl Greek Frozen Yogurt from Edible Perspective // This recipe is flecked with thousands of tiny vanilla beans and sweetened with real-deal, raw honey…Quite possibly the easiest dessert recipe to ever exist. Or at least pretty darn close. And if you are able to resist eating spoon after spoon straight from the ice cream bowl I commend you.
