🥨 Spicy Cheddar and Jalapeno Pretzel Bites from Rhubarb and Honey // Yes, it sounds complicated. And something in your head may be screaming, “No! It’s just too hard!” … but trust me, it’s not. And once you’ve made your own soft pretzels, you’ll want to make another batch right away.
🥨 Homemade Pretzel Bits with a Honey Mustard Sauce from Fitness and Feta // These were the perfect Sunday-night-lounge-on-the-couch-not-wanting-to-go-to-work-on-Monday kind of snack. But they’re really only good for one day, so if you plan on making them, plan to gobble them up right away. These aren’t necessarily the healthiest of snacks, but they aren’t terrible for you either.
🥨 Hot Pretzel Panzanella with Mustard Vinaigrette from How Sweat Eats // This soft pretzel panzanella with mustard vinaigrette is the best flavor combination for a salad there is! Crispy bacon, brussels sprouts, caramelized onion and chopped apple comes together to make for a satisfying delicious salad.
🥨 Homemade Soft Pretzels from Healthy Delicious // Homemade soft pretzels that taste exactly like the ones you’d get at a ballpark – this is definitely a recipe you’ll want to bookmark for the next snow day or lazy weekend afternoon!
🥨 Gluten Free Pretzel Rolls from Peanut Butter and Peppers // A light, fluffy, gluten free yeast roll that tastes just like a pretzel. These pretzel rolls are prefect for a party, serving to kids, freezing and having them with dinner or making burgers and sandwiches on them. But in my opinion they are best straight from the oven, and maybe dipping in some honey or mustard or letting butter melt over it.
🥨 Pretzel Rolls from The Pajama Chef // These pretzel rolls look like they are complex, but really, they come together pretty quickly with minimal ingredients. This is one of the first yeast recipes I ever made, and its practically foolproof. A little sugar and butter adds complexity to the basic soft pretzel taste you already know and love.
🥨 Mini Pretzel Twists with Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce from Foodie Loves Fitness // Homemade pretzel making takes some effort, but in my opinion it is well worth it. The majority of the time that it takes to make the pretzels is just waiting for the dough to rise. The gist of it is that you mix some things together, knead it, then wait it out. Then you roll the dough into a rope, cut it into little doughs, and roll them into pretzel twists.
🥨 Soft Pretzel Bites from What Megan’s Making // They’re also surprisingly easy to make. Immersing all of the tiny pretzels in a baking soda/water bath was a little time consuming, but I’ve heard that you can just spray them with a baking soda and water solution instead. That would definitely be a lot simpler, and it’s what I’ll do next time. I am already planning to make these again, but after the success of my pretzel cookies, I want to try traditional soft pretzels next! (Update: I made them and they’re delicious! Click the link for the recipe: Soft Pretzels) And pretzel twists. And pretzels shaped like letters. The options are endless.
🥨 Easy Homemade Soft Pretzels from Foodie Fiasco // Welcome to Pretzelpalooza. It’s time to get excited. These pretzels are pretty darn flippin’ fantastic. They’re easy (ready in under 45 minutes!), low calorie (90 calories!), and whole wheat (whole wheat!). They may just take the cake. Or the pretzel.
🥨 Bread Machine Soft Pretzel Rolls from Chef Druck // The pretzel dough is a yeast dough, sweetened with a lot of milk and sugar. Once it has risen, it gets a quick dip in boiling soda water to help it get godlen brown and chewy. This is the most high maintenance part of the entire process, but it’s not such a big deal. Measure water. Add baking soda. Dip, remove, drip. Then bake and enjoy, whether you like it dipped in cheddar spread or smothered in sweet butter. These homemade pretzel rolls are so much better than anything you can buy in a store beacuse they’re homemade, with a heavy dose of love.
🥨 Chocolate Covered Beet Pretzels with Sea Salt and Cacao Nibs from An Unrefined Vegan // If you make these, be prepared for incredibly RED dough (and temporarily stained hands). The pretzels turn a deep, dark brown in the oven, but the surprise on the inside is that beautiful color of love stays bright and bold.
🥨 Homemade Cheddar Garlic Soft Pretzels from Layers of Happiness // Homemade chewy, super soft pretzels stuffed with melty cheddar cheese & savory herbs, finished off with a light sprinkle of sea salt. Fast, easy and a family favorite!
🥨 Homemade Soft Pretzels from The Lean Green Bean // These Homemade Soft Pretzels can be made into the traditional shape or cut into bites for a perfect game day or party appetizer!
🥨 Recipe Review: Sally’s Baking Addiction’s 30 Minute Whole Wheat Pretzels from Relishments // Everything went really well until it came time to shape the pretzels. I don’t know if it was my dough or my motivation, but after a brief struggle shaping the pretzels, I opted to just make pretzel sticks instead. I was not disappointed. The pretzels smoothed out during baking and came out really well.
🥨 Homemade Soft Pretzels from Back at Square Zero // Rolling them out was not going well. Then I remembered I see the people at the mall place holding both ends and swinging them like a jump rope through the air, this actually worked way better for me than rolling them. GREAT TIP ALERT!
🥨 Homemade Soft Chewy Salted Pretzels from Friday Love Song // When I make homemade pretzels it’s one of those times my kids think I able to weave some kind of mom magic. I’m not breaking it to them that once you go through the process once, it’s easier to repeat anytime after…Pretzels like bagels are dropped into boiling water before baking which helps them give them their texture. So it may be a little more work than just throwing a loaf of bread into the oven, but once you get the process down it goes pretty smoothly.
🥨 Recipe Review: Just a Taste’s Soft Pretzel Twists from The REWM // The pretzel recipe was fairly involved but it wasn’t terribly difficult. (It was actually remarkably similar to making homemade bagels.) By mid-morning, I had shiny, salty, delicious pretzels! (One thing to note: Do not use wax paper instead of oiled parchment paper or a Silpat. I had to slice the bottom off half of the pretzels because they were glued to the wax paper.)
🥨 Soft Pretzel Bites from Gettin’ My Healthy On // Make these homemade soft pretzel bites for a tasty snack or appetizer, served with a side of nacho cheese.
🥨 Soft Pretzel Bites with Spicy Mustard Dip from Salads for Lunch // These Soft Pretzel Bites with Spicy Mustard Dip are the perfect snack for tailgating. Soft, chewy and bite size with a golden crust, they’re perfect for dunking into a delicious spicy mustard dip.
🥨 Soft Pretzel Bites and Beer Cheese from Fit ‘n’ Cookies // These soft pretzel bites taste exactly like store-bought ones. In fact, they were gone within minutes at my aunt’s party. Everyone raved about them, which definitely means you should make them and share! These are perfect to take to a party, or have for a football game! Pair them with beer cheese, and it’s the perfect appetizer dish!
