Celebrate Spring with 20 Beautiful #SaladRecipes from the #BlogHealthy Community

Welcome back to Recipe Wednesday; another avenue to promote your very best content, this time in the form of your most favorite recipes on your blog. Each Wednesday when you visit HLB you’ll find the theme for the newest recipe round up.

Some weeks our themes read like cookbook chapters, spotlight ingredients or flavors, or simply request the best recipe for a certain situation. Find an appropriate recipe from your blog archives to fit the theme and add to the collection. Or be inspired to create a new theme-friendly dish worth posting about before next Wednesday.

Each week we feature 20 fantastic recipes from our HLB Members [learn how to become a Member here: HLB Membership How-To] giving even more exposure to some of the best content you’ve shared from your own kitchen. Let’s get to it, shall we?

Today we’re celebrating spring and getting prepped for summer with a Recipe Wednesday dedicated to delicious salad recipes! Enjoy these gorgeous salads from around the HLB community to add to your meal plan this season:

Shrimp, Asparagus, and Avocado Salad from Peanut Butter Runner // This Shrimp, Asparagus and Avocado Salad is a delicious summer dish that can be shared with friends or enjoyed as a light dinner. It’s packed with fresh vegetables and herbs and finished with a lemon dijon vinaigrette.

Balsamic Glazed Watermelon Arugula Salad from Askew Nutrition & Fitness // This salad is sure to be the perfect treat at your barbeque. Pair it with a Chenin Blanc or Sauvignon Blanc for a nice picnic feel! Dee-licious!

Skinny Big Mac Salad for One from Simple Nourished Living // A lighter, healthier way to enjoy all the flavors of a Big Mac with fewer calories and no bread this Skinny Big Mac Salad Recipe is a new lunch and dinner favorite. Seasoned ground beef atop a heap of shredded lettuce topped with a sprinkling of shredded cheddar cheese, sesame seeds chopped pickles and a light and zesty “special sauce” this salad is sure to satisfy in just 20 minutes or less.

Edamame Avo & Corn Salad from Nutrition Nut on the Run // About this recipe… it’s almost a no-cook, cool, refreshing summer salad, of sorts, that you can make in your bikini after reading poolside…I served it up over cooled quinoa for a light dinner

Easy Grilled Steak and Veggie Salad from Dash of Evans // Switch up your salad with this awesome one with grilled steak and veggies! This simple Whiskey + Dijon marinade will be your new favorite

Grilled Cherry and Chicken Quinoa Salad from A Healthy Happy Home // We grilled extra chicken, corn and had left over sauce so I figured I’d use it today in my quinoa salad.  This is what I came up with…I like to find new ways to add fruit to savory dishes and this turned out really good.

Fresh Green Watermelon and Feta Salad from Anne Smiles // I find that the combination of feta and watermelonis perfect – add some more greens, and you get a delicious salad!

Heirloom Tomato, Lentil, and Arugula Salad with Green Goddess Dressing from On Tap for Today // You can use just about any base for this salad.  I used red lentils, but you might consider pearled couscous, quinoa or farro (which was part of the original dish, and although its not gluten free, it contains less gluten than wheat and is easier to digest, at least for this body).

Cameroon and Flowers Salad from Fit Food Ideas // In love with this green salad with prawns and edible flowers! Light option…and it’s still super easy to make at home!

Isaeli CousCous Summer Salad from The Healthy Hostess // Totally healthy. Totally customizable. Totally fresh. Totally colorful.

Papaya Salad from Say Yes to Salad // Papaya salad is in both Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. My favorite is the Vietnamese version of papaya salad, but I suppose this is kind of a mix of both.

Orzo and Spinach Salad from Run Eat Play // Now we’re going to a BBQ at my dad & stepmom’s house. I am bringing  Orzo and Spinach Salad. The first time I made it they were like ewww orzo, what’s that? Orzo, is just pasta, my friends, just pasta. So they tried it & love it, and now request that I bring it every time. Hey, it is delicious.

Grilled Pork Avocado Salad Recipes from Lean Lena // Salad for dinner? Yes! Especially if it is a Grilled Pork Avocado Salad! Read on to get this easy, delicious and filling salad recipe.

Thai Peanut Salad from Beautifully Nutty // Such a beautiful complex dish but it’s really not. Wait no, it is beautiful, but it’s NOT complex. But man, be careful with the peanut sauce. It tends to run on the spicy side. I forgot about that and am such a spice baby. My nose was running as I ate this dish but I still really enjoyed it.

Leah’s Favorite Kale Salad from Ask Leah Renee // The salad I could eat every day!!! Gluten free & vegan if you omit the cheese!

Watermelon Radish and Mint Summer Salad Recipe from Lunch with Leah // It checks all the boxes; easy to make, refreshing, looks beautiful, healthy and it tastes AH-MAZING! Even if you aren’t gung-ho for radishes, this version of radish, the watermelon radish, is more mild but delicious in its own way while looking so pretty in a bowl with all the other colors. Watermelon Radish & Mint Summer Salad is going to rock your world.

Easy Kale Chickpea Salad with Roasted Butternut Squash from honeystuck // I threw this together for a simple but satisfying lunch last week when I was too lazy to go half a mile down the road to buy a salad, which is ideal I guess.
I went super lazy on the squash and just bought a bag of already prepped bagged butternut cubes.

Salad Salad with Fresh Blueberry Vinaigrette from Amee’s Savory Dish //
You can easily substitute grilled or baked wild salmon for the smoked salmon, if you can’t find it in your area.  I love big salads for dinner in the summertime.  It keeps my kitchen cool and makes clean-up a breeze.

Chickpea and Cucumber Salad with Dried Cherries and Cheese from GreenLiteBites // Cucumbers, Chickpeas, Cheese, and Cherries make the perfect combination of textures and flavors in this simple salad.

Healthy Greek Salad with Feta from Picky Eater Blog // I absolutely love the different textures and flavors in this salad. Every bite has a little something different, which keeps it interesting! This salad is pretty kid friendly too – you may just have to cut up the veggies and greens into smaller bites – similar to a chopped salad.
