Perk-up! We’ve Found 20 Coffee Flavored Recipes from the #BlogHealthy Community

RecWednesdaysBadge2Welcome back to Recipe Wednesday; another avenue to promote your very best content, this time in the form of your most favorite recipes on your blog. Each Wednesday when you visit HLB you’ll find the theme for the newest recipe round up.

Some weeks our themes read like cookbook chapters, spotlight ingredients or flavors, or simply request the best recipe for a certain situation. Find an appropriate recipe from your blog archives to fit the theme and add to the collection. Or be inspired to create a new theme-friendly dish worth posting about before next Wednesday.

Each week we feature 20 fantastic recipes from our HLB Members [learn how to become a Member here: HLB Membership How-To,] giving even more exposure to some of the best content you’ve shared from your own kitchen. Let’s get to it, shall we?

Are you ready for a buzz? Today’s theme is coffee flavored recipes! Here are some of our favorites from around the HLB community to perk-up your kitchen this week:

High Protein Chocolate Espresso Smoothie Bowl from Andie Mitchell // Chocolate and healthy are two words that don’t seem like they belong in the same sentence, but in this protein-filled cappuccino smoothie bowl, they’re best friends…It’s thick and rich, super duper chocolatey, provides a whopping 29 grams of protein, and it will satisfy your coffee craving, too.

Cold Brew Coffee Overnight Protein Oats from Kim’s Cravings // With a combination of cold brew and oatmeal, these Cold Brew Coffee Overnight Protein Oats are the perfect way to start your day! If you’re a coffee fan, you will love the taste of these overnight oats, which have the perfect balance of complex carbs and protein to fuel your day!

Chocolate Espresso Vegan Cinnamon Rolls from The Almond Eater // These Vegan Cinnamon Rolls are soft and pillow-y and filled with cinnamon, chocolate and espresso powder!

Iced Coconut Coffee Soda from How Sweet Eats // This is definitely more of an afternoon type of coffee for me. I don’t love bubbles or carbonation enough to drink this first thing in the morning, but it’s perfectly refreshing for the afternoon or early evening. Or okay… brunch! You could even add kahlua.

Pumpkin Spice Latte Cheesecake Cups from Ari’s Menu // All the flavors of the fall favorite pumpkin spice latte in individual cheesecake cups with a gluten-free gingersnap crust.

Coffee-Rubbed Hanger Steak with Smokey Vanilla-Tomato Relish from Healthy Delicious // Tomato relish flavored with vanilla and smoked paprika is a great accompaniment to coffee-rubbed steak so tender it practically melts in your mouth.

Chocolate Cookies with Coffee Glaze from Dietitian Debbie Dishes // These chocolate cookies with coffee glaze taste like a brownie in cookie form! Dress them up with a simple coffee glaze.

The Ultimate Nutella Coffee Muffins from Kroll’s Korner // These Nutella Coffee Muffins are jumbo size and soo yummy with the coffee and hazelnut flavor combination from the Nutella. These are the ULTIMATE Nutella Muffins because they are perfectly flavored, moist and are just so much better than store bought!

Vanilla Espresso Energy Bites from Julie Harrington RD // Need a little afternoon pick-me-up? These Vanilla Espresso Energy Bites are a perfect energy boosting snack.

Coffee Cashew Bars from Savory Spin // Life has a tendency to get a bit hectic, so I try to snack on healthy choices like these Coffee Cashew Bars.

Coffee Chili from Prevention RD // I saved this recipe for last because, COFFEE! I was certain I would love it. Plus corn and a ton of chili powder? Oh yeah, that’s my kind of flavor! I was also intrigued by the addition of refried beans – that’s DEFINITELY a new ingredient to me….and it was delicious!

Hazelnut Espresso Granola from The Big Man’s World // A delicious, healthy and nutritious granola recipe which has hints of espresso thanks to ground coffee added in the baking process! This granola is perfect for snacking or for breakfast and is gluten free, refined sugar free and has a vegan version!

Mocha Cauliflower Cold Brew Protein Smoothie from Peanut Butter Fingers // This smoothie is my absolute favorite post-workout pick-me-up these days and keeps me satisfied and energized until lunchtime rolls around.

Coffee Granita from Inspired RD // Do you like coffee?  I have a bit of an obsession with the stuff… a coffee granita.  I can do that! The recipe is very simple.

Easy Chocolate Coffee Pudding Cups from BranAppetit // My favorite part about this recipe is that even though it takes almost no time to make, it’s a pretty fancy way to end your meal. And no one else has to know just how easy it was.

Copycat Hazelnut Coffee Maca Thunderbird Bars from Healthy Helper // Aromatic coffee combines with rich chocolate, hazelnuts, and superfood maca for the ultimate energy bar! Raw, vegan, gluten-free, and no added sugar, these copycat bars taste just like your favorite Thunderbird bar.

Chocolate Cherry Espresso Oatmeal Bars from Confessions of a Mother Runner // You will notice, there is no added refined sugar. The sweetness in these Chocolate Cherry Espresso Oatmeal Bars comes from the applesauce and peanut butter. I was looking to build a bar that would keep me fueled before or after a workout without giving me a sugar crash. I love the balance of protein and good for you carbs.

Mocha Peanut Butter Muffins from Fighting for Wellness // What you will get from these muffins is chocolatey, peanut-buttery goodness. Though next time I think I’ll use instant coffee in the batter instead of brewed coffee in an attempt to get the flavor to really come through.

The Perfect Espresso Martini from Preppy Runner // It’s Friday night and the gang’s all here. There are a million complex ways to make them..but I’m not a very complex girl, especially in the kitchen, so here’s how I made them.

Coffee Swirl Yogurt Bread from Fashion Meets Food // One of my favorite family traditions is Christmas morning while unwrapping gifts, my mum would always have a beautiful array of breads, coffee cake, cookies and more. Despite the fact that my brother and I are no longer little, we still enjoy past traditions. We both now bring goodies to add to our Christmas morning breakfast and this year I will be sharing my coffee swirl yogurt bread.
