Welcome back to Recipe Wednesday; another avenue to promote your very best content, this time in the form of your most favorite recipes on your blog. Each Wednesday when you visit HLB you’ll find the theme for the newest recipe round up.
Some weeks our themes read like cookbook chapters, spotlight ingredients or flavors, or simply request the best recipe for a certain situation. Find an appropriate recipe from your blog archives to fit the theme and add to the link up. Or be inspired to create a new theme-friendly dish worth posting about before next Wednesday.
Each week we feature a handful of our favorite recipes from our HLB Members [learn how to become a Member here: HLB Membership How-To,] giving even more exposure to some of the best you’ve shared from your own kitchen. Let’s get to it, shall we?
This Friday, January 19th, is National Popcorn Day. To celebrate, today’s Recipe Wednesday topic is Popcorn Recipes! Here are 13 recipes from around the HLB community to inspire your National Popcorn Day celebrations:

Birthday Popcorn from Running in a Skirt // Birthdays and beyond – this fun filled treat is a festive snack for any special occasion! We also dig the idea of using team colored candies and sprinkles for tailgating parties and other school events.

Maple Caramel Corn from Oatmeal with a Fork // In our book, maple is majorly underrated and this healthier caramel corn is an easy, naturally gluten free and vegan snack that even the most novice cook can master.
Cranberry Dark Chocolate Snack Mix from Ari’s Menu // Holy yum, Batman! Dark Chocolate, cranberries, kettle corn and chex make this a sweet and salty treat perfect for Netflix night-ins or winter park picnics.
Peanut Butter Popcorn Ball from Sinful Nutrition // Inspired by rice krispie treats, these treats can easily be formed into ball or bar shapes to fit your preferences. Is there a better partnership for peanut butter covered popcorn than chocolate chips? We sure don’t think so!
Tropical Popcorn Crunch from A Full Plate // Pineapple, coconut, cashews – oh, my! A super speedy snack recipe with a great tropical island inspired flavor trio, this mix will bring some brightness to your winter days.

This post also explains the safety and health benefits of choosing homemade microwave popcorn versus store-bought and explains the cost cut-down.
Pumpkin Spice Caramel Popcorn from The Healthy Family and Home // A basic caramel corn recipe, veganized!, with an extra special addition that we find ourselves turning to again and again – pumpkin spice!
Brown Sugar Sriracha Sesame Popcorn from How Sweet Eats // “It has everything I want when it comes to snacktime: a hint of sweetness, a touch of heat and toasty, nutty flavor.”
