Friday Features: Lean Body Pilates

Welcome to Jenn of Lean Body Pilates!

1.  What is your name, blog name, and how did you create your blog title?

Jenn Seracsue Lean Body Pilates It is the same name as my company. Honestly, it just came to me one day while I was walking down 8th ave. It’s catchy first of all, plus exactly what Pilates gave me, and what I hope to help other people achieve in training with me.

2. What’s one goal you’re working towards right now (career, personal, health)?

At the end of last year I took the plunge to becoming a full time Pilates Instructor. This year is all about building my business and making it a lucrative career.

3. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Responsible answer: EGGS- I love them! Plus there are so many ways to make them, so I wouldn’t get bored. Not-so-responsible answer: CAKE- I am a cake monster, but I realize this may not be the best option for the rest of my life.

4. How would you describe your blogging style?

I write when I am inspired to write. If I am not feeling like I have anything interesting to say, I don’t write. I try to give my readers something to think about, or use in their own lives rather than just telling them what I am up to on a day to day basis. That being said, I want to write more regularly in 2011 for sure.

5.  What is your tagline and why?

“My journey to overall health and wellness… Thanks for coming along” I want my readers to know that I am not, nor do I claim to be, perfect. I am navigating my way to the best me possible, just like they are. Also I like the words “health” and “wellness” because that doesn’t just mean working out or dieting like crazy, it means finding a balance and doing what makes you truly happy and healthy inside and out.

6. Do you have days when you just don’t feel like eating healthy, cooking, or exercising?

Absolutely! Doesn’t everyone? It just can’t be the MAJORITY of days…

7.  What is something about you that would shock us?

I am not sure if it’s shocking or not, but I am pretty proud of the fact that I just sang in a concert with the Philharmonic in Colorado on New Years Eve. Talk about thrilling!
