Welcome back to Recipe Wednesday; another avenue to promote your very best content, this time in the form of your most favorite recipes on your blog. Each Wednesday when you visit HLB you’ll find the theme for the newest recipe round up.
Some weeks our themes read like cookbook chapters, spotlight ingredients or flavors, or simply request the best recipe for a certain situation. Find an appropriate recipe from your blog archives to fit the theme and add to the collection. Or be inspired to create a new theme-friendly dish worth posting about before next Wednesday.

Heirloom Tomato, Lentil, and Arugula Salad with Green Goddess Dressing from On Tap for Today // You can use just about any base for this salad. I used red lentils, but you might consider pearled couscous, quinoa or farro (which was part of the original dish, and although its not gluten free, it contains less gluten than wheat and is easier to digest, at least for this body).
Cameroon and Flowers Salad from Fit Food Ideas // In love with this green salad with prawns and edible flowers! Light option…and it’s still super easy to make at home!

Orzo and Spinach Salad from Run Eat Play // Now we’re going to a BBQ at my dad & stepmom’s house. I am bringing Orzo and Spinach Salad. The first time I made it they were like ewww orzo, what’s that? Orzo, is just pasta, my friends, just pasta. So they tried it & love it, and now request that I bring it every time. Hey, it is delicious.
Grilled Pork Avocado Salad Recipes from Lean Lena // Salad for dinner? Yes! Especially if it is a Grilled Pork Avocado Salad! Read on to get this easy, delicious and filling salad recipe.
Thai Peanut Salad from Beautifully Nutty // Such a beautiful complex dish but it’s really not. Wait no, it is beautiful, but it’s NOT complex. But man, be careful with the peanut sauce. It tends to run on the spicy side. I forgot about that and am such a spice baby. My nose was running as I ate this dish but I still really enjoyed it.

Watermelon Radish and Mint Summer Salad Recipe from Lunch with Leah // It checks all the boxes; easy to make, refreshing, looks beautiful, healthy and it tastes AH-MAZING! Even if you aren’t gung-ho for radishes, this version of radish, the watermelon radish, is more mild but delicious in its own way while looking so pretty in a bowl with all the other colors. Watermelon Radish & Mint Summer Salad is going to rock your world.
Easy Kale Chickpea Salad with Roasted Butternut Squash from honeystuck // I threw this together for a simple but satisfying lunch last week when I was too lazy to go half a mile down the road to buy a salad, which is ideal I guess.
I went super lazy on the squash and just bought a bag of already prepped bagged butternut cubes.
Salad Salad with Fresh Blueberry Vinaigrette from Amee’s Savory Dish //
You can easily substitute grilled or baked wild salmon for the smoked salmon, if you can’t find it in your area. I love big salads for dinner in the summertime. It keeps my kitchen cool and makes clean-up a breeze.
Chickpea and Cucumber Salad with Dried Cherries and Cheese from GreenLiteBites // Cucumbers, Chickpeas, Cheese, and Cherries make the perfect combination of textures and flavors in this simple salad.
Healthy Greek Salad with Feta from Picky Eater Blog // I absolutely love the different textures and flavors in this salad. Every bite has a little something different, which keeps it interesting! This salad is pretty kid friendly too – you may just have to cut up the veggies and greens into smaller bites – similar to a chopped salad.
