What’s your name, blog name, and how did you create your blog title?

Beth Horn Fitness –

What can a new visitor expect to find from your blog?

Fitness, health, nutrition, tips to lose weight, the mind-body connection, cutting back on starchy carbs, good fats in your diet, why water is so important to the body, etc…

What is one lesson you’ve learned about blogging since you first started your website?

People really enjoy learning new things that pertain to making themselves better inside and out — things they can use and relate to.

What is your favorite site to visit to find motivation in your healthy living journey? I like the variety of information and nutrition she has on her website.

Do you ever experience days when you don’t want to make healthy choices? How do you motivate yourself when you really need it?

I try to listen to my body; only eat sugar if I am truly craving it. If I need carbs, I’ll order a gluten-free pizza. I always try to think ahead. If there are unhealthy choices available, I know I am not going to feel well if I eat it so it’s not worth it. I love Chinese food but lately, the sodium in the food has been making me feel really icky the next day so I choose not to eat it.

What is your favorite way to get moving, burn calories and energy, and get your exercise-on?

Working out with my fat-burning workouts and yoga. I absolutely love yoga. I love the breathing linked with each movement while focusing on every muscle and being in the zone! It is a moving mediation. I love concerts and outdoor music festivals so I can dance all day long! Hiking is also the best exercise especially being out in nature.

Tell us about your favorite SOMETHING.

The Untethered Soul by Michael Singer has been life changing for me. It is about being aware of our consciousness — being aware of our thought and emotions — not letting them or people change our energy.
