Welcome back to Recipe Wednesday; another avenue to promote your very best content, this time in the form of your most favorite recipes on your blog. Each Wednesday when you visit HLB you’ll find the theme for the newest recipe round up.
Some weeks our themes read like cookbook chapters, spotlight ingredients or flavors, or simply request the best recipe for a certain situation. Find an appropriate recipe from your blog archives to fit the theme and add to the link up. Or be inspired to create a new theme-friendly dish worth posting about before next Wednesday.
Each week we feature a handful of our favorite recipes from our HLB Members [learn how to become a Member here: HLB Membership How-To,] giving even more exposure to some of the best you’ve shared from your own kitchen. Let’s get to it, shall we?
Did you know that June is National Fresh Fruits and Veggies Month? Today’s topic is all about the most VEGGIRIFIC ways to join the celebration!
Here are some of our favorite recipes starring fruit ingredients from around the HLB community to add to your meal plan this month:
Four Better Than Hummus Veggie Dips from Eat Spin Run Repeat // Roasting beets and cauliflower adds so much depth to the flavour of the Balsamic Beet dip. Avocado Lime Dip is an Asian-inspired dip that is creamy, smooth, and full of heart-healthy fats from avocado elevated by the citrusy lime zest. A Thai-inspired Red Curry Sweet Potato dip is loaded with beta carotene, an antioxidant that helps to help keep your skin and immune system healthy. And a smoky-spicy Buffalo Cauliflower Hummus is perfect if you like your dips to light up your tastebuds. Pair them each with veggies, or layer inside your favourite sandwich or wrap
Curry Roasted Fall Vegetable Salad from Dietitian Debbie Dishes // This curry roasted fall vegetable salad will make sure you still love salad even when the weather cools down! Chickpeas, squash and carrots are roasted in curry spices and tossed with pistachios, raisins, and goat cheese.

Beef and Vegetable Stuffed Shells from MJ and Hungryman // These beef and vegetable stuffed shells are a delicious and easy way to get more protein and vegetables into your little one’s growing bellies. You might be thinking, “I don’t have time during the day to be stuffing individual shells when I have a little human being attached to my hip!” No problem! You can make this dish ahead of time. AND it freezes beautifully too! I made everything the night before and baked it right before lunch the next day.
