15 Delicious Ways We Want to Celebrate National Burger Month

RecWednesdaysBadge2Welcome back to Recipe Wednesday; another avenue to promote your very best content, this time in the form of your most favorite recipes on your blog. Each Wednesday when you visit HLB you’ll find the theme for the newest recipe round up.

Some weeks our themes read like cookbook chapters, spotlight ingredients or flavors, or simply request the best recipe for a certain situation. Find an appropriate recipe from your blog archives to fit the theme and add to the link up. Or be inspired to create a new theme-friendly dish worth posting about before next Wednesday.

Each week we feature a handful of our favorite recipes from our HLB Members [learn how to become a Member here: HLB Membership How-To,] giving even more exposure to some of the best you’ve shared from your own kitchen. Let’s get to it, shall we?

Today’s topic celebrates May being Hamburger Month! Here are some of the best burger recipes we spotted around the HLB community to add to your meal plan this summer:

Spicy Peanut Butter Burger from spabettie // “Spicy Peanut Butter Burger – a unique and surprisingly delicious combination! Peanut butter and a spicy kimchi sauce pair well with your favorite burger and traditional toppings!”

Hatch Chile Chicken Burgers from MJ and Hungryman // “The cumin really added to the southwest feel that I was going for.  The cilantro mayo was light and cool and helped mellow out some of the heat imparted by the pepper jack and the relish.  If you’re not into spicy foods, you may want to consider an alternate cheese, such as monterey jack, as the hatch chiles have plenty of kick on their own.”

Ultimate Meatball Burger (Vegan Lentil Burgers) from Cadrys Kitchen // “These ultimate meatball burgers (vegan lentil burgers) are from the new cookbook by Sophia DeSantis, Vegan Burgers & Burritos. They are packed with whole food ingredients and no shortage of flavor.”

Cheddar Stuffed Black Bean Burger from Zen and Spice // “Look no further for a flavor-packed veggie burger! Made with black beans, this burger is stuffed (and topped!) with cheddar cheese and seasoned with plenty of cayenne pepper sauce and onion.”

Italian Meatloaf Hamburgers from Healthy Aperture // “Family favorite meatloaf recipe gets even yummier when made into this Italian Meatloaf Hamburger.”
