Friday Feature: paRD Thyme

FridayFeatures3In our weekly Friday Feature, we share a 5-question interview with one of the fantastic members of HealthyLivingBlogs.com. Take the time to get to know your co-members, pick up tips and tricks, blogging know-how, and recommendations from your fellow bloggers. If you’re an HLB member and haven’t gotten your interview email yet, don’t worry, you will in time! We’re working our way through a list of 2,000+ members’ blogs at random.

1. What’s your name, blog name, and how did you create your blog title?

Hey Everyone! My name is Katie Keatley and I am the blogger behind paRD Thyme! Ever since the idea of blogging popped into my head a couple of years ago, I would periodically brainstorm potential names for if I ever mustered up the courage to start a blog! After bouncing ideas around, the words party time popped into my head. From there, I envisioned paRD Time, which eventually morphed into paRD Thyme. I knew I wanted a name that depicted what my blog was about and I think paRD Thyme does just that!

2. What is one lesson you’ve learned about blogging since you first started your website?

One lesson I have learned about blogging since starting paRD Thyme is to have fun and not get too caught up in making everything “perfect.” It can be hard to not compare my content to that of some of my favorite bloggers, but it is so important that my blog is representative of me.

3. Let’s talk traveling: what is your favorite place to visit in your favorite city or town for vacationing?

4. What is your favorite way to get moving, burn calories and energy, and get your exercise-on?

I am loving HITT workouts right now! They are both fun and challenging, keeping boredom at bay. I will say, however, I was trying to do Superman Pushups and looked more like a flailing fish, so…there’s that.

5. Tell us about your favorite SOMETHING.

Sweet Potato + Greek Yogurt + Cinnamon + Nut Butter + Chia Seeds = Best. Combo. Ever.
