What’s your name, blog name, and how did you create your blog title?
My name is Erika and I blog at MCM Mama Runs. My husband came up with the name of my blog. I was training for the Marine Corps Marathon (MCM) and he was tired of me talking about it. He told me I should start a blog and went and found my URL for me.
How would you describe your blogging style?
A little bit of everything. I write about whatever is interesting to me: beer, running, races, health, travel. I have lots of interests and I enjoy sharing them all with my readers.
What is something you’ve learned recently that you found interesting?
I recently read an article about “Swedish Death Cleaning” and have the book checked out from the library to learn more about the process of cleaning things out rather than leaving the problem to your children.
What is your healthy eating philosophy?
If you eat heathy the majority of the time, there’s always room for a little beer and dessert.
What daily health to-do is easiest for you to complete? Which is the one you struggle with every single day?
I work out 6-7 days as week. I love how it makes me feel, both mentally and physically, so it’s not something I compromise on. I struggle with getting enough sleep. I juggle several part time jobs plus volunteer work plus two kids, a husband, a cat, and a gecko. There just are not enough hours in the day
