Friday Feature: Be Whole. Be You.

FridayFeatures3In our weekly Friday Feature, we share a 5-question interview with one of the fantastic members of HealthyLivingBlogs.com. Take the time to get to know your co-members, pick up tips and tricks, blogging know-how, and recommendations from your fellow bloggers. If you’re an HLB member and haven’t gotten your interview email yet, don’t worry, you will in time! We’re working our way through a list of 2,000+ members’ blogs at random.

1. What’s your name, blog name, and how did you create your blog title?

Lorie Yarro, Be Whole. Be You.

My blog title came out of a personal mantra. I was completely broken into a million pieces after our first miscarriage. It was what centered and focused me when I was feeling lost. It’s also helped with the overlying theme of the blog and takes on the idea of “you do you” in the end!

2. What are some of your favorite blogging tools?

Social media in general–I have learned so much from fellow bloggers. Connecting with them is the best way to ask questions and dig in. I also really love Tailwind. It has helped me get better about scheduling on Pinterest which helps drive a lot of traffic to the blog.

3. How would you describe your blogging style?

I would say when you come to my blog you get a chance to sit down with me as though we were going to chat over coffee. I am an open book and I often write exactly the way I would talk. Most of my posts include a little food for thought on something I may be dealing with along with some food for the body.

4. What is your healthy eating philosophy?

No diets. No food rules. There are no good or bad foods. When we get rid of the rules, we are free to eat and enjoy and lose all the guilt tied to food.

5. Spread some blog love – which Healthy Living Blog do you read every single post from?

Kroll’s Korner!!! Love Tawnie and her recipes as well as her personality. She is definitely someone I would love to hang out with!
