FridayFeatures3In our weekly Friday Feature, we share a 5-question interview with one of the fantastic members of HealthyLivingBlogs.com. Take the time to get to know your co-members, pick up tips and tricks, blogging know-how, and recommendations from your fellow bloggers. If you’re an HLB member and haven’t gotten your interview email yet, don’t worry, you will in time! We’re working our way through a list of 2,000+ members’ blogs at random.

1. What’s your name, blog name, and how did you create your blog title?

Anne Mauney and my blog is fANNEtastic food.  I wanted to come up with a blog name that was a bit different and unique, and that also drove home my belief that eating healthy doesn’t have to be complicated or stressful – and can even be fun!

2. What is your tagline and why?

Come for the recipes, stay for the fun! What originally started as mostly a food blog has turned into a general “what I’m up to” food/fitness/travel/life blog. 🙂

3. How would you describe your blogging style?

Casual and conversational. While I do share some more “fancy” recipe and tips post, most of my posts are lifestyle, which means I’m just sharing what I’m up to! I love sharing both successes and struggles with my readers, and showing how I realistically balance healthy eating and fitness with fun indulgence, too.

4. What daily health to-do is easiest for you to complete? Which is the one you struggle with every single day?

Exercise is probably the easiest for me to accomplish because it’s a very social thing for me – I make plans to meet friends and that means I can’t bail because I don’t want to disappoint them! Meditation is my weak spot – I always want to cultivate a consistent meditation practice, but I have hard a hard time turning it into a daily habit!

5. What is your healthy eating philosophy?

Everything in moderation! I’m a Registered Dietitian, but I promote intuitive eating, helping clients to find a way of eating that reduces stress rather than adds it, and leaves them feeling good physically while also allowing for indulgence. Life is too short to avoid the foods you love!
