FridayFeatures3In our weekly Friday Feature, we share a 5-question interview with one of the fantastic members of HealthyLivingBlogs.com. Take the time to get to know your co-members, pick up tips and tricks, blogging know-how, and recommendations from your fellow bloggers. If you’re an HLB member and haven’t gotten your interview email yet, don’t worry, you will in time! We’re working our way through a list of 2,000+ members’ blogs at random.

1. What’s your name, blog name, and how did you create your blog title?

Heather Montgomery from Through Heather’s Looking Glass.

A friend actually helped me. I was re branding, and wanted something cute that incorporated my name, so THLG was born.

2. What is your tagline and why?

Everyday living with a touch of sass. My old blog was running with sass, so I wanted a nob to that while acknowledging that I am now more of a lifestyle blogger with a focus on health and fitness instead of just strictly a running blogger.

3. How would you describe your blogging style?

Oh I feel like it’s always changing. I used to blog 7 days a week, and now I blog 2 days a week with a heavier focus on social media. I think you have to be able to adapt with the times and do what’s popular at that moment or you will get left behind.

4. What are some of your favorite blogging tools?

Oh I could talk all day about this, I have a whole resources page on my blog! My favorite right now is Sprout Social. Such a time saver.

5. What’s one goal you’re working towards right now?

I am finishing up creating an e-course on working form home as a social media manager. it’s called social side hustle and comes out next month!
