1. What’s your name, blog name, and how did you create your blog title?
My name is Kayla, I blog over at runningintiaras.com! I decided on my blog title because I love running, and I love wearing tiaras, so…Running In Tiaras was perfect!!
2. What is one lesson you’ve learned about blogging since you first started your website?
Blogging takes a lot of work, and sometimes I am staring at a blank page for a while until something pops into my mind to write about. I love writing so I thought it would be easier for me to be able to write daily, but it takes more thought and effort than I imagined!
3. What is your favorite way to get moving, burn calories and energy, and get your exercise-on?
I love running, but if I don’t have access to the treadmill I will do some quick bodyweight exercises like jumping jacks, squats, burpees, high knees, etc. I also love walking, even if it is just walking around the park! I also LOVE a good ab workout, especially planks!
4. Let’s talk traveling: what is your favorite place to visit in your favorite city or town for vacationing?
I LOVE Disney World. You could probably say that I am a “Disney Fanatic”. I grew up traveling to Disney all my life, and that tradition still stands strong. My husband and I actually got married in Disney last May! I love traveling, my husband and I actually just got back this past Wednesday from our one year anniversary trip to Delray Beach, Florida and Nassau, Bahamas! We love the Bahamas!!
5. Do you ever experience days when you don’t want to make healthy choices? How do you motivate yourself when you really need it?
Honestly, I truly love making healthy choices and giving my body what it craves and what it deserves. I know that when I make not so healthy choices my body will feel lousy, and I will probably be a grumpy person about it too. I love all things fruits and vegetables and that’s usually what I tend to eat. I keep myself motivated by giving myself a little pep talk if I don’t feel like I want to work out in that moment, but knowing that I will feel 100 times better after is what really motivates me!
