1. What’s your name, blog name, and how did you create your blog title?
Heyya! I’m Madhuri and I scribble my musings in this small section of the internet titled ‘Ponder N Wonder’. Being a Libran in all personality traits, I tend to see both sides of the coin in all aspects of life. I’m in my own pensive thoughts most of the time, always pondering and wondering what this whole ‘life’ thing is all about. I started this blog to share my little known knowledge on life and the world around me, while I still seek answers each day, to the world within. Spoiler Alert: There is more of such babbling on this blog!
2. What is one lesson you’ve learned about blogging since you first started your website?
Never compromise on quality for quantity. With so many wonderful blogs around, it can become tempting to compare your output with others, which can sneakily result in blogging becoming a chore. Once the need to compare is let loose, the words just flow from the heart rather than the mind. The output of a passionate writing is always pristine quality and freshness.
3. What is your favorite way to get moving, burn calories and energy, and get your exercise-on?
I guess at this point, hands down, I would choose running as my favorite sport. It’s bizarre! I started running to figure out what the whole fuss was around it. Little did I know that I would be hooked one day. I am currently training for my first half-marathon in March and hope to reach that finish line in one single piece. Haha!
4. If you could live any place for the rest of your life, where would it be and why?
That’s a tough one! Having had the good opportunity to travel quite a bit, it would have to be a place that could provide the beauty of Austria, the romance of Paris, the relaxation of Tahiti, the architecture of Egypt, the chocolates of Belgium, the shopping spree of Thailand, the tax-free income of Oman and of course, the finest of foods of India. Hey hey…a girl is allowed to dream right?
5. Tell us about your favorite SOMETHING.
I love catching a good book on life and philosophy and I balance it out with some heavy Netflix binge watching. “The Seat of the Soul’ by Gary Zukav is what I’m reading now. Apparently it turned Oprah’s life and vision around. So why not? After long rough days, watching ‘Jane The Virgin’ gives me all the giggles and warmth that I need. If you want to taste something novel, definitely give Nuun vitamins a try (Ahhh… that blueberry pomegranate!).
