In our weekly Friday Feature, we share a 5-question interview with one of the fantastic members of HealthyLivingBlogs.com. Take the time to get to know your co-members, pick up tips and tricks, blogging know-how, and recommendations from your fellow bloggers. If you’re an HLB member and haven’t gotten your interview email yet, don’t worry, you will in time! We’re working our way through a list of 2,000+ members’ blogs at random.
1. What’s your name, blog name, and how did you create your blog title?
Krista Williams from The Hundred Blog, which is about ‘keeping it 100’. Where I promise to keep it real with ya.
2. What is one lesson you’ve learned about blogging since you first started your website?
That it’s not a short term thing! To really make an impact you need to make it part of your life, for years and years!
3. Do you ever experience days when you don’t want to make healthy choices? How do you motivate yourself when you really need it?
Yes! For me, I find that it’s challenging to always eat well. I love working out so much, so I make sure to keep my workouts consistent. Whenever I have a time where I binge or eat a little too much almond butter or granola (things like that – I go crazy – LOL!) I just put things into perspective. I could spiral and get down on myself, but I am SO LUCKY to have the life that I do. (If you are reading this, you are too!) So I remember all the things about my life that I love, and shift my focus.
4. Let’s talk traveling: what is your favorite place to visit in your favorite city or town for vacationing?
London! I used to work in NYC and part time in London and really fell in love with the city. It’s SO dynamic, colorful, diverse and full of history. I am obsessed!
5. Tell us about your favorite SOMETHING.
Well I have to plug my podcast a little bit, The Almost 30 Podcast! It’s about when shit gets real in your life, as you approach your thirties and you need to make the big decisions, like about who to marry, where to live, which career path to pursue. It’s funny and unreserved! For books, I would say, A New World by Eckhart Tolle. It changed my life and how I think about pain and struggle. My favorite thing though, is to just say thank you each morning. Being grateful is a game changer!
