1. What’s your name, blog name, and how did you create your blog title?

Linda Mitchell from Sisterhood of S.W.E.A.T. Strong Women Empowering Achieving Together. It came from my book. The title itself was created when I was thinking how I wanted to create a fitness community with an environment where as women we could have difficult conversations and feel completely comfortable and supported by our fellow women. I feel as women it is our duty as sisters to build each other up not to tear each other down. Be gentle, be kind, and love on one another and to have each others back.

2. What can a new visitor expect to find from your blog?

Inspiration, motivation, The Sisterhood of S.W.E.A.T. The book, studio, and the blog are all about helping women build confidence and self-esteem through building health and learning to feel 100% great about themselves.”

3. Do you ever experience days when you don’t want to make healthy choices? How do you motivate yourself when you really need it?

When I really don’t want to make healthy choices sometimes I think I just need to take a break or have a rest day. So I make sure to get self-care in, so I get a a pedicure, schedule a massage, or even take a cat-nap during the day. Other times, the majority of the time I just remind myself of how I want to feel later, not what I want to have now.

4. What is your favorite way to get moving, burn calories and energy, and get your exercise-on?

I love to get outdoors and do some functional training. My favorite workout is to run the stadium stairs and do sprints on the track, followed by jumping on tires, doing lunges and pushing the sled. Or I love to run in the mountains and areas surrounded by nature and wooded trails. Last but not least, anything water. I love to surf, paddleboard, swim, or jet ski in the ocean. Basically anything outdoors is where I get my Zen on.

5. Let’s talk traveling: what is your favorite place to visit in your favorite city or town for vacationing?

I actually love NYC. I visited my daughter Tiffany there a lot recently, she is a up and coming fashion photographer and lives there with her fiance Doug, who is a born and bred New Yorker, so she was able to really introduce me to the heart of The Big Apple in such a truly authentic way. So much of everything there to see and to do. NYC is the land of opportunity. If I lived there I would run in Central Park every single day.
