1. What’s your name, blog name, and how did you create your blog title?

My name is Tara and I blog over at Treble in the Kitchen. You are probably wondering why I chose the name “Treble in the Kitchen.” It all started with a present from my grandmother. My grandma loves to craft, sew and make homemade things. She made me an apron with little treble clefs and the phrase “Treble in the Kitchen” because of my love for music and my love for cooking and being in the kitchen. I thought the apron fit my personality to a T, so I chose to use it as my blog name. How perfect!

2. What can a new visitor expect to find from your blog?

When visiting Treble in the Kitchen, you can expect to find tasty recipes I have tried or created, workouts that I have created and recaps of my current half marathon training, and random musings about my everyday life.

3. What is one lesson you’ve learned about blogging since you first started your website?

I have learned how easy it is to get caught up in the "blog world," and I have also learned that I am blogging about my life and I need to continue to live my life to the fullest to have great things to write about. I’ve made a promise to myself that I won’t let my blog, workouts, or food get in the way of the healthy relationships that I have with my friends and family.

4. What is your favorite way to get moving, burn calories and energy, and get your exercise-on?

I am a group fitness junkie! When I am not teaching a group fitness class, you can find me as a participant front and center. I love the energy of being around other people and motivating others while getting my sweat on too.

5. Let’s talk traveling: what is your favorite place to visit in your favorite city or town for vacationing?

New York City has always been my favorite city. I love the hustle and bustle, the Broadway shows, the shopping, being around the people. For me, the city is energizing.
