1. What’s your name, blog name, and how did you create your blog title?
My name is Jessica Higgs. I am the creator/author of My Healthy Passion. I wanted a name that described my journey of becoming a healthier person, through my ups and downs. I am a health enthusiast, learning and sharing everyday. Its a true passion of mine. My main focus is pretty simple: Your health. I hope to inspire all who read my blog do something healthy for themselves no matter what it may be.
2. What is your tagline and why?
Your health, Your life…live it well. You only have one life and one body. You might as well live it that best way you can. My purpose for my blog is to help others understand all of the information that is out there in regards to wellness in a fun and fabulous way. In my opinion, being “healthy” means waking up in the morning, feeling alive, living your life to the fullest. In other words, eating wholesome clean foods, moving more, staying positive, and keeping up to date on the information out there that will keep you feeling “superior” to your body.
3. What are some of your favorite blogging tools?
I love Pinterest!! I think it is such an awesome and fun way to learn new tips, recipes, workouts, and DIY’s. It has brought me to so many new blogs! I also love several apps… Fooducate, Myfitnesspal, and Instagram…I could go on and on!! Since I am still relatively new to blogging, I find a new blogging tool everyday, there are so many cool programs and sites!
4. What is something you’ve learned recently that you found interesting?
How much easier and smoother my morning goes when I am prepared! I am not the best morning person, lets say it is a work in progress. I have been trying really hard to prep the night before, making sure its all ready so that I can get up and go! I find it interesting how easy it is for me not to do it. I am learning so much about myself through my blogging experience.
5. Spread some blog love – which Healthy Living Blog do you read every single post from?
There are so many! I love Peanut Butter Fingers, The Lean Green Bean, and Bite Size Wellness. I think they are all so fun and fabulous. They all have hard workouts, loads of useful information, and yummy recipes! I love finding new blogs to read!
