1. What’s your name, blog name, and how did you create your blog title?
Abby www.abbyeatsalmonds.com I knew I wanted something that tied in with my name as well as my love for health. Being the organizational, list-making girl that I am, I made a list of clever blog names that sounded okay, and were short enough- AEA was the winner! 🙂
2. What’s one goal you’re working towards right now?
As of February 2012, I’m working on graduating high school. Next September I’ll start my first semester of college! I’m also training for a half-marathon in March!
3. How would you describe your blogging style?
I blog about things that make me think and help me, as well as my readers to grow. I have a love for psychology so I love pondering life’s struggles – most of which are health related. I love to end each post with a “Think about it” quote. I also post recipes and meal ideas that I find to be delicious, healthy and satisfying!
4. What is something you’ve learned recently that you found interesting?
I recently read an article on www.firstourselves.org about Caring vs. Controlling. My favorite quote was “Our job is to care for the weather outside of us and the weather inside of us.” Karly Randolph Pitman reminded us that we cannot control the weather outside, just as we cannot control the “weathers” happening inside and outside of our body. We can only care for it in the best way we can. Ahhhh self love 🙂
5. What is your healthy eating philosophy?
“Hold yourself to a standard of grace, not perfection”
