1. What’s your name, blog name, and how did you create your blog title?
Hello! I’m Min from Savor the Rainbow
. When I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, I never imagined I’d be going back to school. Never say never bc here I am working on my Master’s in Nutrition. Nourishing my body with a variety of colorful, nutrient-dense foods is a top priority of mine! Live, dream, love, eat colorfully – that’s my tagline.
2. What is your favorite site to visit to find motivation in your healthy living journey? What do you find from this website?
I love, no. I am obsessed with Anne from Fannetastic Food! She inspires me in ways I can’t even put into words. As we’re on a similar journey in becoming RDs, her blog constantly encourages me to never give up and to keep going no matter how tough the going gets. I learn that IT IS possible to juggle different areas of life and find balance. Also, her training for marathons, doing Crossfit, yoga, etc are really neat and motivating!
3. What is your favorite way to get moving, burn calories and energy, and get your exercise-on?
My fitness routines have changed drastically this year. Right now, I’m focusing on engaging in low-intenstiy workouts. I love doing yoga, going on nice evening walks with my dog, and walking at an incline on the treadmill. Nothing too fancy here.
4. Let’s talk traveling: what is your favorite place to visit in your favorite city or town for vacationing?
I was born and raised in S. Korea and moved to the States when I was 10. Although it takes a full day to get there, there’s no other place I’d rather vacation than my native land. Mostly for the food
5. What can a new visitor expect to find from your blog?
I started my blog back in May of this year, and while I’m still trying to figure things out, I feel a lot more confident and am definitely well on my way to finding my own voice. So bear with me. I love to cook so you’ll definitely see a lot of recipes (hope you’ll try them). As I’m an RD2be, you’ll find posts dedicated to nutrition-related topics. Other than that, you’ll get to know a lot about my family. I love hanging out with my best friend, aka the hubby, and I’m absolutely obsessed with my mini schnauzer, Kona. You’ll see…
