Here’s how you can play along:Write a post on your own blog under this theme before the last day of the month, and when the last Tuesday of July rolls around, we’ll host a link up. Just another great way we want to help promote your greatest content!
Between now & then, we’ll be showing off some of our members own posts on the subject manner – so, be sure to come back and visit each week to get a taste of how others are tackling the topic themselves. It’s a great way to find new bloggers to read and get to know your fellow HLB Members. Why I Love This Community | Let Me Count The Ways…
Healthy Living Blogs, How do I love thee and this community? Let me count the {five} ways…
I love this fabulous community of bloggers, readers and brands because:
1.) We are all free to be completely true to who we are, unapologetically. We don’t judge, compare or criticize each other. Whether it is having a passion for fitness or for the kitchen (or both), this community embraces our uniqueness’s, praises our accomplishments, encourages our differences and supports our efforts.
2.) We are able to share our ups and our downs, as well as our real-life happenings. Having a great day? Just set a new PR, increased weights in a training circuit or created a new, tasty dish? Then share the joy, the little (or great BIG) victories without worry of coming across as boasting. Fellow bloggers want to encourage our achievements and accomplishments. Readers are inspired by our individual and collective progress.

Having a less-than stellar day? Share the worry away without fear of coming across as whining or complaining. We understand a bad day, week or year. We’ve all had our tough, stressful and unpleasant life moments. We care about each other and seek to build each other up through support, empathy, and encouragement. This community does not expect anyone to be perfect.
3.) Together, we create a plethora of resources offering real world, real-life, and first hand experiences. Through product or brand reviews, race recaps, workout how-to’s, there’s a blog that conveys just the information someone seeks. When I’m looking for a new healthy recipe, I turn to my fellow bloggers. When I’m looking for workout inspiration, I turn to my fellow bloggers. When I have questions, I ask them on my own blog and my readers provide me with their knowledge and experience. We all have our strengths and weaknesses and I’m so thankful we’re all different yet share the same passion for balanced, healthy living.

4.) We inspire others toward greatness. People often wonder where I get my dedication to fitness or how I develop my willpower. I owe it all to this community. If I’m feeling unmotivated or become bored with my fitness routine or everyday meals, I simply open my Reader, visit Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram or Facebook to see the latest posts and photos from you. I’m always inspired by the latest post from you, often incorporating or modifying parts of the workouts you share or try a new tasty recipe you have created to add variety to my meals.
5.) And finally, my favorite reason why I love this community is…. No matter where life takes us, from coast to coast or across the globe, this community travels with us. I travel frequently and having this community of bloggers and readers at my fingertips allows me to feel connected. It’s like taking a coffee break to catch up with an old friend and we never have to lose touch.

So thanks Healthy Living Blogs. Thanks for being you, the inspirational, motivating, encouraging, uplifting, beautiful you.
Wishing you the best.
Katie

I love this post
The healthy living blog community is amazing and it’s truly why I keep blogging day after day. One thing I do want to say, though, is that I don’t feel your post is totally telling the truth.
Yes, the experiences I’ve had because of my blog are 95% AWESOME… but there are those bloggers and those readers out there who aren’t nice. They don’t support, they do judge, they call you out when you’re whining, and they wish to hurt instead of inspire. Everybody in this community knows what I’m talking about – each and every one of us has had to deal with it at some point.
I do think it’s great to be optimistic and positive, but I also think this post doesn’t really show the full picture of the community. That being said, it was supposed to be about why you love it, and those are exactly the reasons why I love it, too (it’s just that it isn’t ALWAYS like that all the time).
