Welcome to Krista of My Journey To A Healthy Berg!
1. What’s your name, blog name, and how did you create your blog title?
Name: Krista Berg Blog Name: My Journey To A Healthy Berg I came up with my blog title because my blog chronicles my journey of losing weight and learning how to live a healthy lifestyle.
2. What’s one goal you are working on right now?
Graduating pharmacy school!
3. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Oreo shakes.
4. How would you describe your blogging style?
I would describe my blogging style as honest, positive, and laid back. I always try to maintain a positive attitude while being 100% honest about my daily life and my struggles with weight loss and maintenance. I’m very informal with my posts, but my readers can expect to find daily updates of my workouts, what I’m eating, and my ramblings about pharmacy school.
5. What is something you learned recently that you found interesting?
Well, I’m currently watching The Biggest Loser and I just learned that pinto beans have more antioxidants than blackberries. I never would have guessed that!
6. Do you have days when you just don’t feel like eating healthy, cooking, or exercising?
Oh my gosh, of course! Usually when this happens I find the motivation to push through it by reminding myself about the reasons why I want to be healthy. However, I don’t beat myself up if I miss a workout occasionally; it’s not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. I also keep healthy frozen meals on hand (such as Amy’s Organics products) for the nights when I really don’t feel like cooking or don’t have time.
7. What is something about you that would shock us?
Even though I prefer black bean burgers over regular burgers, fake meat totally freaks me out. I won’t go anywhere near tofu, tempeh or veggie burgers made from soy protein.
