Welcome to Recipe Wednesdays!

Today’s featured ‘mom’s best’ recipe is Charlie’s vegan adaptation of Grandma’s Oatmeal Raisin Cookies!

Here’s an excerpt from the post:

My grandmother makes delicious raisin oatmeal cookies. As I was craving them and not at her house, I called and asked for the recipe. Even though they are already delicious, I decided to change the recipe a little; made it vegan by using earth balance and a flax egg and reduced the sugar. The recipe had 1 1/2 cups sugar in it! I never make cookies that sweet. Even though I like them the way my grandmother makes them, I prefer making mine with less sugar.

And now for this week’s recipe link-up:

Rhubarb is at its peak right now, so what better time to share and try some new rhubarb recipes? Please limit yourself to 2 recipes per member, and make sure to include the name of your recipe. Thanks!

And as a head’s up, next week’s theme will be recipes for Memorial Day!
